At last, it's done, or not quite done, or good enough. Let's call it perpetual Beta. Always in flow.
The new website replaces the previous Wordpress site. As a blog Wordpress is an invitation for blogging, for posting news, for being personal. As it turned out, I wrote 3 posts when the site went live and then never again. The new website also has a news section and the same invitation.
These days blogging becomes more and more important where big social platforms dominate the conversation. The internet get's more centralized and people read Facebook and Twitter instead of subscribing to RSS fees. The idea of the new website, besides advertising ourselves, is to add to the distibuted Internet, the infinite hypertext, as it was intended originally.
We made the website not with Wordpress again, which turned into a monster. This website is made with Kirby (getkirby.com), a lightweight file-based CMS. I can recommend it for it's ease of use. If you're open for becoming convinced, just read the documentation. It's well-written, complete, helpful and show the clean conceptual design by a single developer.
